About the project
The Skilled Barber Shop is a website developed for a barber shop as a freelance project with a small team in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. It combined a landing page for the business with an online appointment scheduling system.
The challenge
During the pandemic, appointment scheduling became especially important for organizing visits to the barber shop. At the same time, having a digital presence gave the business a way to present its services and information online.
The solution
We developed a website that combined the barber shop’s presentation with an appointment scheduling system, allowing customers to book their visits online.
My role
I was responsible for designing interface in Figma and implementing it in React. The backend was developed with Laravel and handled the appointment scheduling functionality.
Design
The landing page was designed in Figma before being implemented in React. I also created a Behance case study documenting the landing page design.
Technologies
React was used for the frontend, while Laravel was used for the backend and appointment scheduling system.
